Good luck Doll!!!!!

Not easy Mapalarkin. I had the same with Danielle at that age, everyone said she was copying her sisters but I knew something wasn't quite right. My gut told me she had issues in her own right. Of course it took me 5 more years to finally get a diagnosis.

I'd say go with your gut feeling and relay that to the doctor, you know him best and whether or not its just imitative behavior. Good luck for September ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Lisa, I'm sure I'll find somewhere. The starting again with new doctors is such a challenge.

I agree they grow up too soon it was only yesterday or so I thought that DD11 was born. Where does the time go?

I just want to scream :_|
the pead thought that eventhough joe is having so much trouble in so many areas, because he is still copeing ok in a couple of fields (such as eye contact- which we have been working on with him for months, and he still has alot of trouble with it- just today it was ok) he doesnt want to diagnose him 'yet' as he feels that having a title wont help him at school ๐Ÿ˜
instead I should just ignore the babytalk, arm flapping, tantrums etc.- except when we are in public- then i should discourage it as people might look at him and think he is not quite right ๐Ÿ˜ also i need to keep him away from bullys and mean kids at school. and come back to see him in three months to see if he is copeing. ๐Ÿ˜ž
WTF????

I don't know what normal is anymore

Oh Doll how ruddy frustrating for you.

Are you able to through your GP get an enhanced primary care plan for Joe and see a Speech therapist and OT?

Either of those can help toward a diagnosis. Or find another Pead and get a second opinion. what you have described does not sound right.
