If this gets through, it will be the lowest point of his government I believe.
Why on earth would they do this? Aren't there more important things to do?? Like, umm, stopping the boats? Fixing the economy??

It happened before with the euthanasia issue. The democraticly elected LA passed a law and the feds recinded it.

so many of the former oppositions concerns about our Country have already been fixed before parliament has even sat

Before the election TA pretty much indicated he is willing to change his mind on marriage equality. Must have been one of his "in the heat of the moment" thing.
