Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.

The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

How is everyone else going?

Re: Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

Flashie, you (and others) might be interested in this survey to take your mind off the brick walls? It's by the Australian Institute of Family Studies on adoption experiences. They are looking for people to identify the support and service needs of people affected. I found an article about it today in the Aussie mag, Australian Family Tree Connections.

Woo Hoo.....I thought we hadn't made the cut to the new boards.

Ancestry are adding some areas in the 1911 census tonight.....lucky for me they have included Lincolnshire.

I am free if anyone wants any searching done.

Re: Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I'm still here.  Been busy with pregnant daughter & hubby moving house and life in general.  I'm so tired all the time and the weather in Sydney has been SO lousy that I dug out my flanno PJs this week!! :^O

I don't like the new boards either but hopefully it will all settle down when they fix all the 'glitches'.  I do love darkie's new avatar though. :-x

I know what you mean about all the old photos with no names.  My mother was a great one at writing on photos and we are grateful for that but other parts of the family were not. ๐Ÿ˜ž  How about showing us some of them matega, especially the scary ones?
