Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.

The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

How is everyone else going?

Anybody have any Ancestors at St Kilda Cemetery?

I am going there in a couple of weeks to take some photos, I cant guarantee i will get far enough around the place to get photos for anyone else, but i will try.

You can do a deceased person search here.

If anyone is wanting to join ancestry au for 3 months plus get a Family Tree Maker program to use on your computer as well as in conjunction with Ancestry Au, Scoopon has a deal currently, thirty dollars, bargain.

You can get some good deals from there. It's interesting the ancestry one doesn't appear in the Perth section but does in others. Don't think it matters which one you buy from.

Re: Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

Hi Flashie and Punch ๐Ÿ™‚  I have one for you, I have a good feeling you will find this person .... I hope :^O

His name was Thomas Joseph Hitchman born in 1855 in Oxfordshire and came out to Australia somewhere between 1871 and 1879, so he was between 16 and 24 years old.

I have searched and searched but with no luck.  I know he must have come out between those dates as I have his census record for residence in 1871 Norwich and he married in Australia in 1879.

Hope you can find him ๐Ÿ™‚

Darkie, which state did he live in? Are you just trying to find out when he arrived?
