I get most of my bills via email, but I still get mail almost everyday too, mostly business stuff. Not that this will affect me, we dont have postmen in our backwads part of the world.
Can't see how it would matter too much if the postie came every second day for most people. I assume some business areas may still get daily delivery.

Is it saving trees? Once there is less paper needed maybe forests will not be maintained and replanted as much and it could cause less trees.
