Allison Baden Clay Murder 2 years ago
I was reading up on this today, as the trial started Monday.
The senior Baden Clay was on the stand today and gave evidence about something his wife told him about his daughter in law..................................I thought they usually objected and called that heresay?
Don't they do that in Australia? have I watched too many American crime shows?

Yes, she is guilty of having an affair with a married man but really, she has not been implicated in Allison's death so I can't see an issue.
I think she needs to change her name and hide away it's time she showed some respect for her own children instead of airing her disgusting sneaky life with a murderer to the world to cause her children further embarrassment.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all family and friends involved.
I just read that the scratches on his face did it..........as he shaved to cover them up.
The police also sought help for overseas experts in murder cases.
Then there was the plants in her hair, 4 of them were found at their home and only 2 at the creek.

As I said before -
I find a handing down of a 'guilty of murder' verdict based on circumstantial evidence most unnerving.
As for all these 'overseas experts' ....freddie provided a link (go back a few posts) detailing past history of one of them!! Not a comforting fact and certainly provides more questions in my mind about this latest legal conclusion reached.
IMO this is not the end of this matter - my instincts and all that
Mr B-C might be wiser now about his choice of a legal rep.
My prayers of support go out to him, his Dear wife, his 3 young daughters and all family and friends.

How do you explain the scratches on his face..........they were not from a razor?
The plants that were found in Allisons hair?
How would you explain how her body got into the creek?
She wasnt suicidal, she didnt take an overdose of her medication.
Her blood was found in the car.
How do you explain all the above?
He was a liar, he told his wife liars and his mistress, so why would you believe he wouldnt lie in court?

correct am3.....but this whole legal case stinks. From my experience and IMO there is something very, very wrong about all this.

I can't agree with you there paints.
The only thing that stinks is, 3 lovely children have lost their mother, Allison's parents and family have lost their daughter, sibling & niece.
Defence claims - suicide, overdose of Zoloft, pretty much ruled out. No attackers- not mugged of personal belongings (still wearing wedding/engagment rings), not assaulted physically.. no injuries. Didn't walk 13 km (4-5 hours from home) and jump off a bridge (no physical injuries to prove that theory).
That leaves manslaugther or murder by the last person that saw her alive. Who had the motive & opportunity to do so. Also the pressure to do something.

Paints this link is a Defence witness not a Prosecution witness.
What stinks Paints?

have always been a little concerned about my interest in crime and it's development................ and thought it was almost obsessive but tonight I realised that it is probably normal............................ compared to some of the people who attended court in this trial 😮
One woman came from Alice Springs?? just a stranger with an interest.......... others lined up from 3.30 am to get a seat.............. 5 courtrooms reserved and mostly filled with people who didn't even know the family??
I have decided I am relatively normal.

I think we are normal Az, particularly in this case, where a mother of three little girls was killed by their father, A man you lied, cheated on his wife and family.
Allison was a very pretty woman, & to think some one could kill her & then think they could get away with it, I think interests alot of people.
My daughter is into watching crime stories and reading books about it, I think it is just one of those things that interest people. With this case, the finger marks she left on his face, caught peoples attention, because anyone could tell, they were not caused by a razor blade.
Anyway, he got what was due to him, life in prison...........but I truly believe he thought, he had committed the perfect crime and could get away with it..........stupid man.
