Bondi Hoarders Auction

The Auction was scheduled for last night 17/2/2015.

Anyone know if it sold?  My thought was that it could sell for at least $1.5m.

Re: Bondi Hoarders Auction

They had owed 17 years of Council Fees, etc  and paid about half last year.

It is the balance + interest + Solicitor fees that is due now.

The NSW Sheriff’s Office had commissioned Raine & Horne Real Estate to sell the house in Boonara Ave to recoup a portion of the $350,000 in ratepayers’ money spent on 15 clean-ups over 17 years.

Last year the hoarder house was placed on the market after the Sheriff’s Office was instructed to recover $180,000 of the those costs on behalf of the council. - Excerpt from February, 2015 article.

Re: Bondi Hoarders Auction

i like the way he said,

Mr Serrao said any buyer would be responsible to clear out the accumulated garbage and the Bobolas family.

"They should be made aware that they are purchasing the property with the, lets call it, inclusions, and also with the occupants," he said

which is the garbage, the contents or the bobolas's
