It's been a really crappy day here. There was a lot of stress with the sol. and my mum's ex partner, then Miss 15.

Good news is, sol has persuaded mum's ex (Mr. B) to allow us into the house to collect mum's belongings this week. We have two days (which won't be enough). Mum was a collector of everything mostly antiques. Initially Mr. B said no, AGAIN. but sol. was called and she had a chat with him.

Can you believe that he wants to make a claim on her estate for water rates and land rates? Doesn't that just speak of love? I really want this whole estate stuff sorted so this man is out of my life.

Hope everyone is doing OK and is keeping warm. It's freezing here. Can imagine how Miss 15 is coping? She is living in a tent with a 19 y.o boyfriend.,:_|

Of course you'll need more than 2 days unless you enlist the help of friends and family and even then you'll be hitting the ground running. But, as you say, the greatest motivation is to get him out of your life.

No, I won't contact Mr Ex. I asked myself why I felt I wanted to contact him. The plain answer is that I'm starting to feel lonely, a year and half down the track. But he doesn't care about me, his actions proved that. If he did still want to be "friends" he'd only be doing it for his own agenda.

Miss 15 is living in a caravan park in a tent with her boyfriend. Police can't do anything. She called in to see me today and basically just collected more of her clothes then left. At least the lines of communication are there and we know (for now) she is alive and still has a pompous attitude.

Yep, apply for your dead partner to pay last years land and water rates...I'm appalled. Mr. B is such a greedy man, he's unbelievable. He's told a lot of lies to both my brother and the solicitor and finally I think the sol. has caught on to what this man is about.  My brother is not impressed at this point with him either but is keeping calm until we can get mum's things. My brother is on the edge...one word from Mr. B will be the end of my brother being nice. About time!!!!

She's 15 Jacks. Of course she's going to have a pompous attitude grrrrrr! I hope she comes to her senses soon. I thought it was illegal for an underage person to be living with someone over 18? The police can't or won't do anything Jacks?

Although, I guess you can't make her stay at home. They always find a another way to run away 😞

I'm glad your brother is now on the same page as you when it comes to Mr B. Finally!

Basically the police say, she is not missing anymore. As far as being with a 19 y.o, they say it is really hard to prove there is any 'special' relationship. Although extremely obvious to anyone.

I just miss the bubba girl so much when Im at work, it's only 3 days though and the money is handy as Im giving Miss 15 a "Sweet 16" in Oct.

ALso I love spending time with my sis, it's getting to the exciting (stressful) Wedding stages, so best Im at work with her!

We had a dress fitting & paid deposits on the weekend, I sooo need to drop some more weight, it's just coming off so damn slowly! Wish I had more time & energy to exercise!!

Took Miss Sammy on a 7km power walk the other day, it felt great! And bubba loved the fresh air and mild sunshine 🙂

PS: The dresses are so dreamy! I love them!

Hubs is still being donkey!

On Sat night I made sure it was just the 2 of us out to dinner and had a 'talk', but (typically), he was all shocked that Id suggest "he" has the problem! LoL

Anyway... I pretty much laid out the facts that if he wants to act like a 13 y/o boy, I will keep treating him like... but I wont be putting up with it indefinately as Id rather be a single mother to 3 than how Ive been living!!

He was more annoyed than upset cos he's one of those guys that cant be 'told' anything, its a very bad quality.

He does one helpful thing then 2 other things that "p" me off! *sigh*

Oh and just add more stress.... Miss 15 phoned me in tears from school and said they wouldnt let her do her chosen subjects for HSC, it took ages for us to finalise and just like that they said the class times clashed and basically pushed her into 2 or 3 subjects she has no interest in - one being 'German'!!

I have an interview on Thurs with the Careers advisor, and if we cant sort this I will need to find her a new school!!! 😞
