I don't know if it's a wise decision given an election's just around the corner. It's probably going to cost them at the ballot box especially in areas where they're trying to claw back some ground like the western suburbs.true. and margo will be cheesed off too.
You are right lakeland Margo is very cheesed off most especially when I think it is a load of rubbish all these illnesses are in the genes, the oldest woman in the world from France lived till 122 and gave up smoking 5 years before she died that probably killed her she smoked all day every day.
George Burns smoked 15 cheap cigars a day and lived till 109
There were about 10 other examples of people over 100 not getting ill or dying from smoking.
One of them said when asked how they lived so long that you should smoke, drink, don't stress and never give up working.
Sounds just like me.

i guess believing it is half the battle margo, and genetics. some seem to be all but bulletproof .. i know some too . others seem to have no vices and die anyway. there seems to be a random selection process of some kind .

I am a reformed smoker and have absolutely no sympathy for anyone who cannot quit, of I can u can
Really? . Ask any heroin addict who has tried to quit both heroin and nicotine. which was harder
and the answer will usually be be nicotine.
Quitting and addiction is different for everyone, and big gold stars to those who can do it easily (if that's what they want ) but I for one
found it one of the hardest things of my life to do. I'm quit now for 3 years (after many attempts) and won't go back to it
as I wouldn't want to go through the quitting again. I have a lot of sympathy for smokers trying to quit and can only say it doesn't matter how many times you try the next time you'll probably make it.
