I would fall over, for sure.  LOL

They are now saying that while it not impossible to catch the virus from surfaces, it is the aerosol we inhale that is most dangerous.

I do wear mask when going into shops, and I also wear thick scarfs, which I can drape over  my face if I feel uncomfortable.

Re: Coronavirus update

Just watching the Tulsa before Trump's rally, almost nobody is wearing masks, even inside the hall I only spotted 1 mask; it was white and standing out, maybe some darker and patterned ones do not stand out so much.

Re: Coronavirus update

During the rally Trump said he is telling his people to slow down with the Covid 19 testing. He said the US is leading the way with testing, and the numbers being revealed are higher than everywhere else. So effectively he was saying that the high numbers are making him look bad. Very obviously he doesn't care about the Americans who are learning they are infected, and therefore can seek help.

Be a good sight if she had on a short skirt.

There's always a knee, I suppose.

Before i had a walking stick, I always used my elbow on those filthy buttons.

Since the walking stick, I use that to press the button.

People who have cough or any signs of cold should stay at home, or at least wear mask.

I'm an asthmatic and my cough is triggered by smokers/chemicals etc. I try not to go out due to other peoples' assumptions but sometimes I need to.

I am sick of being glared at if I cough. (I understand that people are trying to protect themselves but it is humiliating. My other option is to try and hold it in till I get outside but thats not always possible. I have left things on the counter and whizzed outside.

The problem is that hospital admissions and death are also climbing.  And while America tested lot of people in total, per capita, which is what matters if you want to get an idea about how widespread the infection is, the USA is far behind many countries.
Per million tested:
USA  84,532
Russia 114,171

UK 113,651

Spain 103,231

Qatar 113,147

Belgium 94,829

Belarus 89,125

UAE 307,280

Singapore 98,510

Portugal 102,684

Bahrain 276,869

Denmark 151,311

Luxemburg 230,328

Iceland 197,508

Lithuania 143,394

Cyprus 121,563

Malta 198,096

Mauritius 119,676

Faeroe Islands 241,844

Gibraltar 318,601

San Marino 162,133

Bermuda 160,220

Monaco 412,907

Faulkland Islands 282,221

Australia 78,548

That means 23 other countries have done more tests per capita than the USA, and we have done even less.  But as Australia has so few cases that does not matter so much.

However, I just spoke to my daughter, who took her 9 years old child to be tested today.  My granddaughter was fine yesterday, but got fever last night and is quite sick with flu like symptoms.  Doctors are not opened on Sunday, so they went to the hospital.  There was a long queue, and no one to ask what to do if you have symptoms; so they stood in the line, in freezing cold for half an hour.  Even when they got inside nobody seemed to be bothered to look for people who actually have symptoms.  Wouldn't it be ironic if people get the COVID19 when they go to get tested.  Now, we are not too concerned; my granddaughter's father had bad flu about week ago, he was tested and it was not corona virus; so, most likely this is the same thing.  Fingers crossed.

What country was that ?

The public must also mitigate for flu as per coronavirus - an outbreak of flu in Australia could kill more people than corvid-19 has

I think statistically for clearly respiratory related deaths Australia is in surplus compared with several years average prior - with very low incidence of serious cold and flu cases
