One of the kids purchased a four camera cctv kit from Bunnings for $170. One of their friends has had the same kit for several years, trouble free. I helped them install it on each corner of the house a few weeks ago. I have to admit, its pretty darn impressive for the price.
It works just as well in the dark ( infra red ) as day time, motion sensor activation of digital recording system etc.
When they first got it, they had a look to see what their pet dog was doing when they where not home. He stands back as far as he can get, takes a big 20 metre run up and uses a bench to jump up on the garden shed roof. From here he can look out over the neighbours yard, see whats going on out the front of the house and basically keep an eye on everything.......It was obvious it wasn't the first time he had done it and had it down to fine art.....it was hilarious.......
