@debra9275 So what is your take on why it took so long to move the numbers at all. ? Genuine question, just seeking your insight. You where there.
Because it got into aged care and health care workers so it became a domino effect where it was being treated but it was also what was causing infections due to some workers working at different sites.
Then on top of that people just weren't listening which was proven by the 200 plus fines they were handing out each day and there would've been plenty more that just didn't get caught.
Some were just carrying on as if there was no virus and going visiting different people without any precautions.
Look how quickly the Colac cases spread from just a single infected person and that's in a town of 20 thousand people compared to Melboune's 5 million.
The main problem was that it was spread over a large area that all had multiple cases of infection and those ones had infected others and would've kept doing so if the lock downs had not happened.
