and thank goodness for that!   Woman LOL

Andrews will base his decisions on what the experts advice is  I don't have access to them.

I have relatives who Live in Unley(Adelaide) and they're not worried as the outbreak is far away from them too

Thats interesting....I live much forther away than Unley and the outbreak has had a fairly major effect. Businesses re-introducing COVID restrictions, Loo paper sold out in Supermarkets and huge line ups at the local COVID testing clinic.

Going to be some late night sewerage testing - hopefully they will test upstream to narrow the search area

The run on toilet paper is a worry - like no one thought to keep a 1 - 3 month supply in rotation, slowly accumulated over time - same with food ?

One of us is spouting nonsense, that's for sure.

It might pay you to read up on Health emergencies, for eg. Which the entire country has declared. Thus empowering them to do what it takes to protect citizens. Like Victoria did, and SA seems reluctant to do.

Of course YOUR Premier can do no wrong, and Andrews can do no right.

@davewil1964   This link may help you to gain a better understanding of the tiers of law and their place in an emergency such as COVID.......You will note that it is the declaration of a State of Emergency ( or disaster, depending on legislative names in each state ) by STATE administrations that gives a government the rights to over ride civil liberties and constitutional rights. ( or to use your term, " to do what it takes to protect citizens"  ) The article notes that the Commonwealth ( or Federal government ) does not have the Constitutional power to do this. All completely consistent with my statements on the issue including the highlighting of the constitutional law inaccuracies in your posts..

Re: Coronavirus update

from what i'm hearing the SA govt is failing big time in getting tests done

people are quing all day long and being turned away and told come back tomorrow

they have been sitting back watching victoria for months so there is no excuse to not be ready

testing sites open at about 6:30 and by 7am there are hundreds of cars at every place and growing!

one caller said hed been waiting 2 hours and guessed there were 80 to 100 cars in front of him.

they were doing cars at about 3 every 15 minutes (3 test bays) depending on how many were in the car.

one lady went to a hospital with her 2 teenage sons, was in line for several hours before being told 'oh we dont do children here you must go the royal adelaide childrens hospital'

what the?

if this is true and this is how the city is trying to fix this then i suspect the virus will go out of control

Re: Coronavirus update

Now that's what you call a lockdown.  Only one person allowed to leave the home and only for specific purposes.
