Hoons tend to be blokes (males) who drive around in old V8s using up a set of tyres every few hundred miles. All hoons are bogans, but not all bogans are hoons. They are a subset, if you like, like those rednecks who always go to the Indianapolis 500.
Thank you, that was a great explanation! And a great analogy too!

This guy - handsome as he is - travelled from Florida - dressed as he is with the flag rolled along with Trumpy's face in his netherlands- to join the DC - protesters for Corporal Covid (Trump).
What Aussie expression would you use - to describe this.
Okay, if I understand bogan correctly, he's one. Here, he's a "Good Ole Boy", the lowest version of redneck.

Let's spread the 'joy' around shall we?
Why were they allowed to leave?
And to top it off NSW is not quarantining them.

PM scotty pushed for the states to bring our people home so hes to blame
he could have sent them to christmas island to sit out their quaranteen but no, we brought them right into our citys
now as for my govt in SA
thay had 6 months to plan for an outbreak
looks to me like they had no plan
the testing stations were unable to handle the numbers
the sudden lockdown triggered panic buying
the panic buying ment for about 12 hours shops were crowded!
if people had the virus what a great way to spread it around
no one was panicing prior to the lockdown!
most people were doing the right thing
people who wont do the right thing will still do the wrong thing
and now we have a population of people who dont know whats ok and whats not
my case of needing to get my dog out to do his business must be pretty comon
people in apartments
people in retitement villages
ect
i'm sure there are other examples of reasons to go out that arnt 'shopping' but we are getting told 'no, you cant'
i'm all in favour of the lockdown but geez its been badly handled

Don't forget the hundreds of people that have gone from SA and have gone interstate to avoid the lockdown.
The distances from the hotspot Adelaide to most country town are big distances and to lock down the regional
areas is a step over the top IMO and the the full panic might've set in and they have now escaped to regional
areas to get out of the hotspot and maybe taken the virus with them.

It's more likely the hundreds of "South Australians" flying out before the new restrictions take effect, are in fact from other states trying to get back home so they don't get " locked in " .
I live in Adelaide , the powers that be here have done exactly what is needed to stop the spread.
We dodged a bullet in the first wave, and the quick, hard restrictions imposed now for a short time will do it again. Regional, city, no difference, we are all South Australians . equally, if the virus takes hold again, regional areas will be effected same as the city.

David, I really don't think they mean not giving dogs toilet breaks.
You're just not allowed to take him on a walk.
Let him amble, let him go potty, but make sure you are wearing your mask.
I don't think anyone will be bothered by you.
