I really like The Beatles song You Know My Name. It is goofy, but a rare example of them just letting their hair down and fooling around, especially John.

It commences with:

Good evening and welcome to Slaggers
Featuring Denis O'Bell

I thought it commenced with:

Good evening and welcome to Slaggers

We drink Daddy's Ol'bell (which I thought was an alcohol drink)

I have been singing the wrong lyrics for decades and only found out about the correct lyrics recently. My problem is I like my lyrics better, and still sing them LOL. Not that I would dare profess to be a better lyricist than Mr Lennon.

I have a downloaded version made by a fan.  The music arrangement is great, the singing is great but from memory I think the singer was American, which is possibly why he interpreted the last line above as:

Condors of the sky.

I still like to listen to it but when I get to that line it makes me smile.
