The rain often goes north through Horsham and misses us completely
Where are you located Tazz?
Yarrawonga,Northern Victoria on the NSW border.
It heads for here sometimes and then drops below us or goes either side of us and the old timers reckons that
only started happening after Lake Mulwala was put in.
All my brothers and sisters live in SA around Adelaide,Gawler and Kangaroo Island.
Have camped up that way a few times, nice area

You can bring the outside cool air inside.
Down to 31 now

I dont like evap coolers they make it too muggy inside, they struggle in the really weather and dont lower the temps all that well plus they wont heat the house in winter

19 mm. in an hour at the hills property near Adelaide and 15.5 mm. at the remote farm. The hills property is off to a great start to the season recieving 80 mm a couple of weeks ago. It already has feed 15 cm. high in places.
I had 90 lambs booked to go to market from the remote farm on Monday, but all of the B double, semi trailers have been cancelled due to concerns they will not be able to access the farms after the rains. A bit inconvenient as I traded in the old farm ute today ( just clocked up 400,000 km. ) on a new one and ran the bank accounts dry in the process.
After the drought our stock numbers are down and if the season continues, we will be battling to have enough sheep to eat all of the grass. the joys of farming ... feast or famine.

Make that 27 mm. at the remote farm. Looks like 10 mm. in the last ten minutes.
