I don't agree with any of it - but I'm not particularly anti one labeling and not the other,

If you want to object to Kosher then do so for their slaughter techniques, as far as I'm concerned Halal and Kosher are as bad as each other with respects to animal welfare. But I don't see the same level of greed with Kosher as there is with Halal Certification.
Regardless, I don't support any religious certification on balance.

do you get that supporting renewable energy hurts the coal industry and harms our economy?
Sometimes money is a poor justification.

What I "get" is, I have free choice like everyone else and I wont purchase halal labeled food ...... What muslims don't "get" is eating non halal doesnt make a blind bit of difference, food is food .. its just a dumb, man mad up rule, that they are silly enough to follow lol

Yes I get that the coal industry is hurting. Some of the posts in this thread have been against paying a tax or levy on food.
So if it isn't about money, what is it about?

So if it is halal certified and cheaper you wont eat it even though it wont make a blind bit of difference?
