I haven't been in here for ages, the political threads were boring me too much but I'm happy to see the place is moving along nicely.
What's new? ๐
PS I hope everyone is doing good!

Hi Mioux. Good news about staying off the smokes, well done!
Nothing else much is new around CS. Same old same old, but I remain hooked lol.

so start one?
I never complained about the political threads but the gist of the arguments against them (I thought) that they were somehow stifling others from starting non political threads. Maybe I misunderstood.

You never complained about the political threads?
Why would you?
Seeing you either start them or keep most of them alive. Even throw a little political non-sequitur in the most non-politcal thread on the board?

It is exactly the same on the U.S. board.
We don't have any fun game threads, or photo threads though.
All in all, this board is much more fun.

no but you are complaining that there are still no exciting threads, so instead of complaining, start an exciting thread

Congratulations on Quitting, Mioux! OH has quit smoking as well after a serious health scare. Life has been hectic and full-on but all is good.

I walked past a lady in a supermarket the other day who reeked of ashtray. I felt really sorry for her not knowing how bad she stank. Almost felt like I should tell her, a bit like when someone comes out of the loo and they have tucked their skirt into their knickers, I didnt of course.
Sorry if that offends any smokers, I rarely notice the smell of smoke apart from when I walk through a group of them huddled in a shooping centre doorway, but this woman really did smell strongly.
I really admire people that can kick the habit, I've never been a smoker but I know a lot of people that just cant give them away.
