Housework

Cleaning schedule...I'm hopeless,need help

Sandy, I had a friend who used to do all that and more!

Her fridge and stove were on wheels so she could roll them out

and clean under and around them every week.

The clothes her 4 kids wore yesterday were washed,

ironed and put back in their rooms the next morning -

before she went to work!

We used to joke that she dusted her roof tiles.

Her kids have grown now - she has an empty nest

and doesn't work anymore. 

She must be very bored.

Yeah, I know martini - don't know if it's very good for the carpet but it makes her happy.

Her crystal cabinets are always sparkling.  I clean mine when the sun comes in and you can see how much dust has landed.  Still makes me wonder how the dust gets into a cabinet that is hardly ever opened.

Stawka, there's more to life than over doing it.  I think there's a slight OCD with those people.

I suspect we all have a clean freak friend. Mine is a bit over the top at times. She won't use flyspray because it 'marks walls and drapes'. So........she chases them around with a tissue and catches them by hand. Every thing that is removed from pantry and fridge is wiped down before it goes back. I don't feel comfortable in her home though.

This is such a good thread.  It's making everyone feel good about themselves 

I really should be cleaning the bathroom and toilet today, but I'm going to go shopping instead

Housework is so repetitious.

Vac-sweep-clean windows-tidy up make the bed etc.

Then 6 months later.. the week before the real estate inspection--do it all again...........................Richo.

Or the next day or the next day

I just vac'd and mopped, I even dusted. I am going to reward myself by sewing something nice.

It's such a lovely day

You might have time to give the house 

A fresh coat of paint

Mow the lawns

Go and visit a few old folks homes

Walk the dog

And still be back in time to cook 

A roast
