Campbell Newman......
He has come to Bundaberg many times since the floods along with Tony Abbott... KRudd is yet to visit once... and since Rudd did not sign off on a lot of relief money he probably won't be well received if he does visit.
Anyway.. back to Mr Newman.... he has made some fantastic changes for our region and today he made a big announcement today that will create 500 jobs for the area...
I was very impressed with Mr Newman and feel very happy that my vote went to such an amazing man.
And for those that want to cry about the cuts I suggest you all look at the latest stats and see how much QLD has grown in the last 12 or so months. Jobs and growth are above and beyond what the rest of the countries growth has been.

Isn't it amazing that there was a camera crew there to give Kevvie his photo op. None of us believed it of course, heโs a phoney who is addicted to attention. If the camera wasn't there he'd probably do a selfie and post it online.
I will breathe a huge sigh of relief when the labor party get rid of him for good this time, heโs unfit to hold office.

I suggest you look for yourself at ALL the Queensland flood photographs.

Cats Back , do any of the amazing people you speak of charge us ,the taxpayers thousands (on top of their normal wage) for their own charity work ? Stop the waste ,cut foreign aid and use the money here ? Tony Abbott earns hundreds of thousands of dollars and talks about those on low incomes not using their few hundred dollards a week wisely while charging us thousands for his own CHARITY work .
If the 2010-2011 QLD flood is Australia's worst flood ...Julia Gillard was correct and truthful. The following ones weren't as bad.It would be dishonest and incorrect to suggest otherwise

If she stopped by our camper, I would have gladly made her scones and tea.
i would too, I reckon.
I didn't like a lot of what Ms Gillard did. However, I had and continue to have enormous respect and admiration for her and the position she was able to secure. Regardless of how I perceive she did her job, the facts remain that not too many people ever attain the credentials to even enable them to be in a position to lead an entire country, and to succeed in two traditionally male dominated fields are achievments to be commended.
I reckon I'd feel pretty priviledged if she, or anyone else who had done something so extraordinary, spared the time to share a cup of tea with me.

'Mr Abbott seems unwilling to apply to himself the standards he sets for others,'' Dr Emerson told Fairfax. ''He sits in judgment of other members of Parliament but expects to be exempt from any judgment against him relating to the misuse of entitlements.''
When Mr Abbott repaid the money in full, special minister of state Gary Gray said he did not intend to take any further action.

I hope to meet a few more amazing people tonight......
They have worked hard for QLD and the Wide Bay region.... they have given a sense of recognition to the local community and I hope that my local guy can do that too.
Good luck to all your candidates and I hope that on your journey through the voting halls you get to meet some amazing people that have taken time out of their everyday lives to help the people that they think will best represent them and their ideals and values... rather than sit back and become keyboard warriors with google as their weapons they have made the step up and gone out and done some real work to back their passions.
I am yet to feel the love and respect on this forum from many people.... it seems that I mention that I met someone that I think is amazing yet all others can do is ridicule me for that. I have always been respectful of everyone else's views and try hard to not put you down for your opinion.... one day some of you might be able to show me the courtesy of doing the same.
Enjoy your day... I know I will be.
