I dont have a single tile in my house, both my showers have acrylic walls. One is a smallish moulded corner one with sort of a bath at the bottom. I put that in when the kids were real little and I still needed to bath them. I have a 1200x900 in my ensuite with acrylic walls, it has a sliding door instead of an opening one which I really like.
I've had a **bleep**py week with dad, he has started being aggressive at the new place, dont know if its the new surroundings and just a settling in period, I hope thats all it is and it passes quickly. Have been there everyday and spent 8 hours Wednesday night in hospital with him
they are giving him something to calm him down and have also started him on an anti psychotic. He seemed good today so fingers crossed it was just temporary.
And I agree with the others, it is lovely to come in here and chat ![]()

Awww Punchy before I head off i'm so sorry your Dad hasn't settled, elderly folk hate change, I know the Princess gets antsy if they change the staff around a lot. I hope he settles soon, it's upsetting for the family when they know their folk are unhappy. ♥

I agree with Bushies all the way Freddie Rooster. What a wonderful person you are; the world is a better place with you in it xxx

Good morning all.
Bushie, I looked up the shredder. And some reviews of others. Due to the copious palm fronds here I am tending towards an Ozito brand. Still to make the final decision.
In regard to the "shortcut" I was thinking about some longish bamboo stakes (crisscrossed lattice-like) hammered into the ground along the centre.
Because I am a fan of black paint in the garden to hide anything obviously out of place, I would have them painted; so as not to detract from the roses. I use weathershield - watered down (25% water) usually on wooden surfaces.
My pa used to used 8 guage fencing wire 1/2 hoops dotted through a newly planted bed of annuals to deter cats from scratching around (this hint might be useful to others here.)

Mornin' early risers, late risers and everyone else lol
Deb I agree, you need to go with the shredder that best suits your needs 🙂
It was so warm last night, we sat out the back enjoying the peace and quiet and what there was of a breeze. We discussed what we could do re the "fencing". Other than mailing the hounds to freddie, we thought that a few stands of tie wire run along the whole length might be an option perhaps with something climbing on it at a later date. Now that the roses has recovered from being ripped out of the ground and transported to their new home, I want to plant some lavender and a few other bits n pieces in there as well, so I now need to do something to keep the hounds off the garden.
