Sorry you are having so much trouble re your ex, I hope it gets sorted out quickly for you once you have been to court.
Things were a bit more hectic here this morning than I had planned. My friend called unexpectedly with a carton of fresh eggs which was nice. While she was here the plumber called to install the new flue on our chimney. We had a bit of laugh 'cause the ls time I was at her home, he had called there unexpectedly to drop off some bit n pieces to her While they were both here, the guy we buy our lamb from called by to finalise our meat order for next week. In the mist of it all, Mr B was trying to get the painting done lol

Picked up a rescue dog from the vets and drove him a fair way north to his new foster home.
A beautiful Bull terrier cross who was going to be pts at the local pound until a local rescue went into bat for him (and another Bully cross boy)
He was sooo friendly with people, but had obviously had NO training! Why on earth people get dogs and then just leave them to their own devices I dont know .....
.... but then, there are a lot doing that with their children nowadays too
.....
I guess people lead busy lives and just don't allocate the time and money to it.
Nice you were able to save him.
Puppy sit is over, just about to deliver her home, feed her and await her owners return! The dogs had a nice time!

Oh I am so happy he was able to be saved ๐ There was a beautiful 10 yr old dalmatian handed over to rescue last week because his family were selling and moving and didnt want him anymore. They asked the rescue group if he could be picked up prior to Sat as they were having their open house on that day and would prefer he wasnt there ๐
So terribley sad when older dogs get the brush off like that - I can't imagine how sad and confused they must feel. Luckily the rescues seem to be able to get them a caring home for the rest of their years.
I can't understand it myself, pets are a commitment for the length of their lives.
IMHO if you dont want anything long term, get a goldfish.

I get very emotional about animals. Poor little wee dog been hit and left on the road this morning. Surely people could stop and check....wish I could do more.
Master 4 and I are about to read a story until his mummy gets here....it's training night. Then bed for me as Wednesday is my busy day.
Miss will be 11 next week....11!!! She has chosen her gift from me....lunch somewhere special and a movie. Gosh I hope there is something suitable showing. I have a $50 Gold Class that was a thank you gift so may treat her to Gold Class too.
Enjoy the evening
