After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

My first relationship limped along for 26 years and I am both relieved and saddened that this current one only lasted 2 and a half years. I think that when you've been living with daily stress for a long time that the body and mind feel exhausted once that stressor is gone.

Good morning! Off to visit with FIL shortly with freshly ironed shirts and it is raining again, 2 days already.
It will be the 20th anniversary of my surgery next Christmas Freddie, 15 with the C free diagnosis, so I jumped the celebration a bit. I can't get a good pic but this is it and I have the matching earings already!

Congrats on your 15 years, Azure. Well worth celebrating. You must have been quite young at the beginning.
Has stopped raining on the north side now.

Good afternoon My Dayers!
That is a very pretty pendant
We did make it back OK last night, Freddie - we didn't leave until after 3 (waited for DYD to get home from work) so missed out on the worst of the traffic. Filled up with fuel in Sydney at $1.06 a litre!!!! (Here it has dropped wayyyy down to $1.35ish!)
I will do a seperate post with a few pics from Boxing day.
Where are the ppl who are suffering with the heat? I'll send some of this cool and wet down for you!
There is sooo much to do to fix the house down there, apart from painting right through. We did make a start... going back in mid January for another week of hard yakka to get as much as possible done. I have to pick the new carpet then, and go to see some kitchen places re a full renovation. I already know the colours I want there!
And I am getting a walk in pantry built! So happy about that, we are converting the "formal dining" nook, I think it will work very well
The gardens are loving the constant rain, but gee this is weird weather for this time of year. I swear the beetroot tripled in size in 4 days!

Good you got home without too much delay B3 you must have left at the right time. Yes this weather is a little crazy nice though after the humidity of the past few weeks. I just ordered Az's pendant hope you don't mind me being a copycat Az?
B3 are you moving to Sydney?
