After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Good morning, just a tad chilly this morning, Summer took forever to get her and now it is gone 😞
BC Great news re your gardener, will be good for yuo to get your yard all nice and tidy, ready for some new gardens
Can't say I am a "chook" person, most of my neighbours have them, so fresh eggs are never a prob but dont want to keep them myself. Interesting that some councils wont allow backyard chooks anymore, wonder why they have made that decison?
My shadehouse re vamp is now almost finished, very happy with the way it has turned out, only have to lay the pavers and it is done. So nice to have al the pots off the ground and onto shelves, no more tripping over them, when I go in there to do something.

Good afternoon My Dayers
Bushie, it's not that chooks are banned down south, but the regulations on distance from habitable dwellings restriction makes it near impossible unless you are in the old part of town with BIG blocks of land.... and most of those are being bought up by developers who put villas on them.
More packing done today... barely touched the surface
*sigh*

Beautiful description of the sunrise, Amber.
It is a beautiful Autumnal day here today. I've swept the driveway, put out the garbage and recyclables, cleaned out the fridge and am now filling in time before my kids arrive. They'll be placing big and/or heavy items on the nature strip for a hard rubbish collection for me.
I hope that everyone is enjoying the day.

Fair enough re councils not allowing chooks on smaller blocks, I guess for the smell/noise perhaps? Shame they have made the blocks of land so small these days, not much room for anything once a house has has been built on them. Most of my neighbours have chooks, cant say they bother me at all, I just dont want to keep them.

Suburban councils won't allow chooks, cos if you've got chooks
you've got rats and mice - always
