I suppose I could always lash her-indoors to the lawnmower so she doesn't fall off - steering for her would be a bit of a problem

No, no problem at all. You get small light sensors and place one in each corner. Then program with lawnmower or mobility device to turn the corner at the appropriate time. Thus ensuring the lawn gets mowed, without gaps and the mower does not toss off the operator.

I am very tempted to call you an unintelligent bovine but I won't. In case you didn't notice many  people (either through advanced age or ill health) are not able to mow their own lawns or walk their own dogs let alone do it for others to earn extra $.

Another thing you will see if you read back is that a few posters are doing exactly what I have done, a little extra work here and there to help out.

Are you going to abuse them too?

Re: PENSION RATE CUT

I have to admit I thought the same thing. Anyone who ran a company, doesn't matter how many years ago it was, I would think would certainly have had a reasonable amount of money to put aside for their later, non-working years or have a self-managed super fund unless they were extremely short-sighted. In saying that if sickness and/or disability hit before you had accumulated much moolah that's a different story.

Re: PENSION RATE CUT

without going into too many personal details.  our Co. was going along fine until 2 international Cos. decided to cut out the middle man...(us) and sent us into voluntary admin...all our plans for retirement  (real estate assets) had to be sold to pay off the Co. debts. so we were left with only our mortgaged family home.

So as rabbit says...the plans of mice and men oft go astray.

Re: PENSION RATE CUT

So sorry to hear that Ken. Yes, that sort of thing has happened to many good business people. Advances in technology too, have hit others. I knew a fella years ago who had a thriving sign-writing business then when laser printing came in, however that works I'm not up with as I'm not technical, well it killed his business overnight. So yes certainly, the best laid plans of mice and men go astray. That's for sure.

exactly .. but when I responded to those 2 posts, I had read only those first two posts of yours and I commented on what I had read - as do we all I suspect. Obviously, if I had at that time read your other posts where you qualified those original statements I would not have made the comment.

(2) I made no mention of your IQ did I, but, knowing now that you are in the top 3% I bow to your superior intelligence - as should ALL eBay members, posters, staff and management,  Doctors, Solicitors, investment bankers and certainly most politicians. I must admit, I  struggled to make the top 10%.

Now, would you like to berate darkside for similar comments??

Anyway, PEACE
