If you're fighting to protect people's lives, why not start by not risking the innocent lives of everyone elses. Find another time. I will have more respect for you. I was just saying the other day: Thank God that Australians aren't as crazy as Americans and we have at least some common sense not to choose this time to protest.

One thing that doesnt discriminate is the COVID 19 virus. With health inequality between indiginous Australians and the rest of us already an issue for concern, coupled with a lack of co-operation and understanding on social distancing shown by those at the rally, the stupid morons ( and their equelly stupid online barrackers ) who supported the rally may have just done a lot more damage than good to " black lives " in Australia.
Once again political correctness has overriden common sense and the health guidelines that apply to the rest of us and the stupidity of this action is only now becoming apparent.
Black lives matter ?.... yes they do,............... but so do the lives of people with mental health issues, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the homeless etc. Police brutality and killings are not just isolated to indiginous Australians. There are problems with our police forces which need to be addressed, but putting the health of all Australians at risk ( including indiginous Australians and our elderly ) is not a responsible way to achieve change.

Thanks to the idiots in Melbourne.
I wouldn't call them idiots imastawka. I would call them people who have shown solidarity with African Americans as well as Indigenous Australians. They have joined together to speak out about the injustices, racism, police brutality etc (incl. Killing with impunity).. As there were in the Australian marches as well as others around the world, a huge amount of Caucasians, this presented to the world that Caucasian people do care about their fellow man and abhor racism. This goes a long long way to counteract much of the sinister actions by those devious people who try and manipulate an issue for their own gain.
There hopefully will be no major problems as far as infections go and we may see people carrying on as normal can in months to come. I think what ever risk factor there was would be far outweighed by the "good gain" from this show of solidarity.
You know, an infected wound needs to be treated and cleansed properly. Putting a bandage over it only masks the problem for a while until it becomes much worse and the situation becomes irreversible!
Just like the anti-5G protesters who were protesting about them and their precious children being exposed to radiation, health problems, deaths from cancer etc., the anti-racist protesters are engaging in something that if addressed properly and with honesty and compassion can have a long term positive gain.

They don't matter to the people at the rally who heckled and boo'd a protester who had a sign that read " all lives matter ". Police later arrested him..
And if the rallies are really about the injustice of police killing people they are trying to control and arrest, where was the outrage in the rally crowds about the shooting death in Australia a few weeks ago of a mentally unstable man who was armed with a pocket knife ? SURELY that should have been plastered all over protest banners............... But no mention at all..........why ?...........
Unfortunately there are too many inconsistencies and obvious anomalies in the position of the protesters. They have ruined any credibility they may have had and simply come across as a mob of hypocritical attention seekers....Unfortunately rationality and common sense flies out the window when politicall correctness enters the room..
