Wow been some years from my last visit, this place is a devastated landscape !  so sterile !

I was thinking of back in the day and the great laughs we had and thought of the old posters.

Lot of water gone under the bridge, all the hatchets would be well buried by now.

Are there any left ? am I all that's left ? anyway hello to any of the old guard, cheers Yibs !

I havnt named any particular poster. I dont need too, most know who the main offenders are.

As for who has left, the messages are called private messages because the posters wish them to remain private. There are a handful of past regular posters who have contacted me and expressed similar concerns to those that I have publicly raised.

The interesting thing is a couple are not the type who go out looking for an argument. They are some of the most moderate, thoughtful posters we had on the boards, who never upset anyone. They are just sick to death of the poor behaviour of a couple of regulars.  they are a real loss to intelligent discussion.

While i,m not familiar with the details, one expressed that the worst offender was active on another board in the past and had damaged that one to the extent it was no longer viable. This might ring some bells with a few of the longer serving posters. 

Its no skin off my nose what happens here. I,ve got plenty to keep me entertained elsewhere, although the forums have been a distraction from full days of packing sale items when ebay is running hot.

I just find it unfortunate that one or two can wreck things for everyone else and find it disappointing that the forums are collapsing due to the constant snide and derogatory remarks of a couple of regular posters..

Well - that leaves me out - the only board I was on that has closed - was closed by the owner.

The rest - to my knowledge are still ' viable ' - well for some. 🙄

I wasnt familiar with the forum / board names mentioned, but apparently some of the old hands on this forum where extensively involved in the other forum / board. I,m not prepared to mention the names of the other board / forum or the current regulars who where involved as it may identify the person who sent that particular pm.

One take away though is it illustrates how long standing some of those members who are raising concerns are. 

Anyway its over and out for now. My parcels are packed and I,m off to do the mailing. Have an enjoyable weekend boardies.

What I do find interesting is that on a ' reunion ' - ' hello ' - thread - only two come in to whinge - what's that about. ???🙄
