Sea ice grows. What do alarmists say now?

If vanishing sea ice was evidence of global warming, what does increasing ice mean? Can’t wait to hear the scaremongers explain this away:

ANTARCTIC sea ice has expanded to record levels for April, increasing by more than 110,000sq km a day last month to nine million square kilometres.

The National Snow and Ice Data Centre said .... “This exceeds the past record for the satellite era by about 320,000sq km, which was set in April 2008,...”

Increased ice cover in Antarctic continues to be at odds with falling Arctic ice levels, where the summer melt has again pushed levels well below the average extent for 1981-2010… [But] the April Arctic minimum was 270,000sq km higher than the record April low, which occurred in 2007.

Together, that leaves us with above-average sea ice:

THE PLAN 1. ABOLISH THE CARBON TAX

The Coalition will abolish the carbon tax.

We have a clear and definitive action agenda to get rid of the carbon tax as a priority.

The Coalition will honour our promise to the Australian people and make abolishing the carbon tax the first order of business, if elected at the next election.

On 5 August 2013, the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon Tony Abbott MHR, wrote to the Secretary of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to make it clear that, if elected, the first priority of a Coalition government will be the repeal of the carbon tax.

The Leader of the Opposition also wrote to the Clean Energy Finance Corporation on 5 August 2013 to make it clear that the Corporation should desist from making any further determinations in relation to grants, funds or financing.

If elected, the Coalition will take immediate steps to implement our plan to abolish the carbon tax:

• on day one, the Coalition will instruct the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to draft legislation that repeals the carbon tax and to have the legislation ready within one month;
• on day one, the Treasurer will notify the Clean Energy Finance Corporation that it should suspend its operations and instruct the Treasury to prepare legislation to permanently shut-down the Corporation;
• within the first month, the Cabinet will approve legislation to repeal the carbon tax;
• on the very first day of a new Parliament, the Coalition will introduce legislation to repeal the carbon tax; and
• within the first sitting fortnight of Parliament, the new government will introduce legislation to shut-down the Clean Energy Finance Corporation.

As soon as the carbon tax is repealed, the Environment Minister will introduce legislation to enact the Coalition’s Direct Action Plan on climate change and carbon emissions.

We cannot make it clearer: the carbon tax is gone under a Coalition government and it will be our very first order of business from day one.

I'd be worried about Fukushima (very worried), if you want to be worried about something.. just because the media has a blackout on the subject and are pretending it has all gone away, does not mean that it has.

Ocean dead zones are now appearing.

 Want refugees - ones wanting to escape the northern hemisphere radiation will be in plentiful supply as this worsens

was on the news yesterday about the Chinese eyeing off Australia as a safer place to source their food as  radiation levels rise. want a billion or so of them eyeing us off ?

and one of their ministers publically stated China will go to war with the west - Australia and others to obtain their clean food and water and more room.

The media mentioned this once and then dropped the subject

You obviously  missed the part where I wrote:  Most politicians have very little grasp of climate science,  when I should have written:   Most politicians have very little grasp of climate science, and they are not alone.

Now for the actual quote from Gore's speech.

What absolute nonsense AJ, there are more than enough articles (mostly scientific,sorry)  because the news is not of general interest anymore,  other than for scientists and nuts.

As for "wanting to escape the northern hemisphere radiation"  that is also nonsense.  Research basic  global air circulation and inter-hemisphere air transport. Hints:
