General comment - not in response to anyone:
It's interesting that in all the finger-ponting and blame-shifting nobody has mentioned tht he was a long time member of a Rugby Club - institutions notorious for a culture of toxic masculinity.
He aso played Rugby at an elite level for several years; which is food for thought in light of recently released findings of the post mortem examination of the brain of Graham Polly Farmer - an elite Australian Rules player.

I don't think he should been classified in the same class as Farmer, whose was a professional Player. He trialed as a player for NZ Warriors in 1905 , failed and only ever played second tier or lower as a player. I think he claim he was a "major" player/trainer/coach but there seems to little proof of this. I think his biggest and only problem was his narcissistic opinion of himself

You are so clever smart and worldly there's nothing you don't know or have experienced.
That's why I would like you to be my daddy.

agree, this guy had a History of Violence, police had been to the house before his wife left, she had a order out against him granted by the Court.
His son from another marrage says his father abused him and his mother.
Lets not forget he burnt his babies and his wife, a horrible death and they saw it coming from their father.
I dont care if he is Mental, I care about his history of violence
So sick of Victim blaming

1905? I'm surprised he caould even lift a jerrycan much less assault anybody. And that the Warriors existed back then.
