I don't think he should been classified in the same class as Farmer, whose was a professional Player. He trialed as a player for NZ Warriors in 1905  , failed and only ever played second tier or lower as a player. I think he claim he was a "major" player/trainer/coach but there seems to little proof of this. I think his biggest and only problem was his narcissistic opinion of himself

CTE is not about how good a player is or how serious his concussions were, it's about how long he played for and how many even minor head knocks he sustained over that period. 

And in no way am I suggesting it might excuse or even explain his behaviour - you'd have to be completely psychotic to imagine it was a good thing to set fire to  three small children and their mother.

EXACTLY!!!!  How can anybody argue that the courts were unfair to him?  If woman leaves a man because he was violent,  her safety and the safety of the children is the 1st and only concern.  By all means, get him counseling, but his feelings are not as important as well being of the kids.

You have absolutely no way of knowing this.......Family court matters are not publicly available. Media reports from investigative journalists speaking to the family and friends suggest the contrary.

Cham, it was in a news report shortly after.

His solicitor advised him to take what Hannah offered prior to going to court - being shared custody, 3 days one week and 4 days the next.

He rejected this against the solicitor's advice and their first court date was the next week.

Just what Hannah offered prior to the court date, so as to avoid the Family Court.
