The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Mum and I had them.

I am mum's carer now so I make dinner for her every night.

I love anything like a filled sub, yuummm.

Turkey, corned beef, cheese, egg, salads, olives, avocado, seeded mustard, pickles.

Danish open sandwiches are usually done on dark rye bread and topped with lots of things.

So I did buttered rye with pate, beetroot and fried shallots.

Another piece with triple smoked ham and remolade.

And a piece with sliced french Brie. Half an egg with whole egg mayonaise n dill on the side.

We usually eat them at the table with knife n fork. Much easier.

Optional - cold beer and a schnapps.

(Not my pic, just an example)

Dinner tonight might be mincey bouncers (officially known as meatballs).  They are bouncers in this house not because they 'bounce', but they do roll.

However, when surrounded by a wall of auspiciously seasoned rice I am happy to say that they do not roll off the plate, thusly enabling them to be captured and consumed easily in situ ...  Smiley Tongue

Nothing gets wasted in this house. lol

Another Friday, and most likely it will be fish.

I am not complaining, I had my share of pie last night. Smiley LOL

I've changed my mind!   It has to be oven baked chips with oven roasted sausages because it is, after all, Friday and everyone knows what that means ...  Smiley Embarassed
