The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Just means because it's Friday, I hadn't picked up the mince to make the meatballs is all, but I will on Monday ...  Woman Tongue

Fridays, Fish.

We drove to the fish shop earlier. Go to walk in and there is a sign on the door. They are closed for a couple of days.

I had decided what I was going to order, and hadn't considered anything else. Now what Problem.gif

My dinner tonight, a hamburger with cheese. Smiley Sad

Nothing wrong with a hamburger and cheese Trav, it's a special treat, so enjoy it and be sure to have some icecream as well xx

In the wee small hours of the morning, we made pastry in the food processor with a view to making an apple pie later and when I finally do hunt and gather the mince, make some old fashioned cornish pasties.

For dinner tonight, who knows?  Mr. Tas can't get back until after 6pm so that could mean anywhere between 6 and 9pm ... methinks the best thing to do is to call up the 'something on toast' backup procedure ... Woman Very Happy

Tas, my plan B is always pasta.  On the table in 20 mins.  Recipe only for 2 or 3 peeps.

While the pasta is cooking, fry up chopped onions, bacon (if you've got it) and garlic.

Empty in a can of tomatoes (whatever you've got - diced, chopped, puree.) and a pinch of sugar.

Also some chilli - fresh or flaked, oregan, basil and a tablespoon tomato paste,

Simmer until pasta is cooked.

Top with parmesan.

My version of Amatriciana.
