The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Yes, very jelly.

Tried a few times.  They just won't grow for me.

Is it a Nellie Kelly Dom?

Daughter had a banana passionfruit that got out if control when she was first married.

I didn't much like it.

Making taco's tonight.

Mexican spiced mince, lettuce, tomato, grated cheese and medium salsa.

Using the stand up shells, much easier. Smiley Happy

I decided to put it in a casserole and layer it with cheese in the middle and cheese on the top, and bake it for 15 mins.

It was even yummier.    I'll be doing that again.

Means I can prepare it ahead.

Just had some leftovers for lunch.

Aaaaah - my memory is not that long - been there for ages - this year noticed bees.

Originally planted a golden skinned one - think it has gone where all plants go when they pass.

They were purple with a lovely yellow & seedy inner. lol.

Google says - Yakisoba is similar to chow mein and originated in China, though it is now considered a Japanese dish typically sold as fast food

Is this true, Kopes?

Yes the noodles used are the same as Chow Mein noodles but the ingredients stir fried and sauce are different.

Done with slices of pork, thin carrots, spring onion, **bleep**ake mushroom. Seaweed sprinkle and pickled ginger on top.

So completely different flavour to Chow Mein the dish.
