The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Today being Friday, of course it should be a minor sausage or two!  But due to the winter solstice, tonight it will be a holy crushed royal meatball concoction, surrounded by whatever can be excavated safely from the freezer in the shape of vegetables.

Might have a dessert also just to be frost bitten rebellious ... rice pudding?

It's going to be a very long weekend ...  Smiley Tongue

No trick,

my friends and also my wife play regularly, and have our favourite machines.

We have a limit as to how much we will put in them, and never put in any more on the night usually $10 each.

May sometimes put in $20 but it is extremely rare. Last night my wife and I made a $40 profit.

If we manage to double our money we will pull it out, and will stop playing. we never get greedy or expect the machine to pay out the jackpot. If we get a good pay, we will play it up or down to a round figure. Eg, if we have $24, we will either play it back to $20 or if luck is with us, play it up to $30, and take it out.

Wednesday night, we all put in $10 and played for about a 1 1/2 hours, we all play the same machine taking turns

(and have some funny rules that we have made)  we all got our money back and made another $30.

The profit goes towards our boys night xmas get together (4 of us), currently we have close to $500 in our xmas fund.

Last night we had roast lamb.

Tonight my wife suggested we go to the Bar & Grill restaurant to have pork ribs. I'm happy ! Smiley Happy

I play with pineapples in the machines.

If you dont put pineapples in,  it won't give you pineapples back.

Not far away.

I just made spinach fettucini bolognese with mushroom and fresh parmesan.

I make a large batch of bolognese at times and freeze in many small tupperwares.

So easy to make dinner in 15 mins. Smiley Very Happy

Munched on penang chicken curry and coconut rice followed by fresh fruit while sitting under the stars watching the Darwin Symphony Orchestra play David Bowie hits.  Brilliant night (and really really delicious curry if I do say so myself!!)

Oh and just to really upset you all, the temperature was a balmy 22 degrees ๐Ÿ˜‰
