The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Home made cjicken schnitzels, jacket potatoes, corn on the cob and fresh green beans here.  You never know, Nanna  Smiley Winkmade some apple pies and put them in the freezer so may have one as well.

Now that's a hearty homely meal.

I make my own chilli con carne for rice but I also throw in a can of Stagg chilli as it's very good quality for a can.

Binds the flavours together nicely.

Don't know what to do tonight, perhaps some garlic prawns with an advocado salad seeing as temp is humid here in Melbourne.

I'm going to the Rissole (RSL) tonight for a 3 monthly get together of old pharts.

Hoping for a lucrative night out.

Tuna is cat food IMO

True story, when I was about 18 or so, my mother had cat. I came home late one night a bit drunk.

Well in that case it's beer o clock too. Smiley Very Happy

Dinner, have some frozen prawns so was thinking of garlic prawns with an avocado salad seeing as weather is a little warm.

Actually just remembered mum bought some marinated chicken skewers from the chicken place. Might fry those up with the salad.

Kopes,  make my own Chilli as well, but I make it with beef chunks not mince.

Is that Stagg Chilli made with mince?

With steak, nice.

Yes it has mince but not much, it's mostly red beans.

The sauce is good quality for a can though.

Very few canned foods I would use on their own but Stagg would be one.

Cheers Richo n Dom. (Klink) Smiley Very Happy
