Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Tas depends on the size but big ones 1 - 1 1/4 hrs 

we like them very well done , they come out fluffy inside with nice crispy skin ( olive oil and salted first )

Finally, tonight we are eating at home, and it's Tuna casserole.

A real one, not like the one "ooak3"  made.

When my wife mentioned it, I was up immediately, checking that we had all the ingredients.

 Am looking forward to it.

I'm going to the Rissole (RSL) tonight for a 3 monthly get together of old pharts.

Hoping for a lucrative night out.

True story, when I was about 18 or so, my mother had cat. I came home late one night a bit drunk.

Was hungry and made myself a toasted sandwich.

Next day she asks what I had made because I had woken her up.

I told her I had a toasted tuna sandwich.

She walks to fridge and pulls out a can of tuna and asks, "was it this".

Yep !, when I look at it, is was a can of Snappy Tom brand tuna.

From then on, I would take my time to read anything I got from the fridge or cupboard.

Good luck on the pokies. I put $5 in last night and and made another $10. pulled it out, better in my pocket that the clubs.

   .... Trav, I think it might make no difference which animal (primate or cat) food you ate when you were somewhat 'under the weather' like you were;  at that stage, food is food! ....

Home made cjicken schnitzels, jacket potatoes, corn on the cob and fresh green beans here.  You never know, Nanna  made some apple pies and put them in the freezer so may have one as well.
