Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.
Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.
So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.
Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.
And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.
Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

I don't recommend the suggestions of using oyster sauce. A little blerk to me.
My secret yakisoba sauce, but keep it between you and I.
2 tsp sugar
4 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp ketchup
2 tsp kecup manis
2 tsp hoisin sauce
6 tbsp Worcester sauce
4 tbsp of water from dried shytake mushrooms
(I soak the dried shytake mushroom for an hour and use some of the water)
The whole idea of the dish is to stir fry noodles with a few vegies n meat with a sauce lightly coated on all.
So mostly a dryish dish with some flavour, not a wet dish.
Traditionally it's a hotplate stir fry served in street stalls in Japan.

Tonight is usually my "boys" night out.
However, we have two of the grandkids (12 & 10) till about 9pm.
Wife wants to take them out somewhere for dinner. (cramping my style)
In a few weeks they are moving further away, so I guess my boys night, is out.
May go down to Manly and have something there.
The Rib place may be the go.

Won't hurt you for one night, Trav, to go without boy's night.
And the grandies need to be impressed before they move away.
Loin lamb chops for us tonight. Will make mint sauce to have with them.
And probably mashed spuds, cabbage and peas.

I cannot believe your mushies got bleeped.
Maybe a good idea not to add them - under these circumstances.

I'm surprised that didn't get bleeped as well.
English people say....shy - ( with a te on the end).....and that gets bleeped.

Maybe each site has it's own list of "bleepable" words Stawks.
If "shytake" was posted on the UK boards it might get bleeped.
