Its seems to have been kept fairly quiet
BUT
Yesterday, we hit 400 parts per million of atmospheric CO2

The countries in WHITE are the only countries in the world where hemp cannt be sold as a food product
UPDATE DECEMBER 7th 2012
The COAG committee apparently has decided that FSANZ recommendations, study and report spanning 10 years of research from all over the world is not good enough.
In fact, the Ministers have sought a review on the proposed standard for low THC hemp as a food.
Ministers have agreed to seek advice from the Standing Council on Police and Emergency Services.
Why not let them know how you feel

Back to the topic!
DLA: "Unfortunately Poddster, low brow responses from the Alarmists is all that you will get in this thread...."
Don't overlook the low scientific knowledge responses either.:-
"This tax will also drive wealthy countries into poverty"
"next time a volcano coughs, there goes 40 million extra tonnes of co2."
The cream:-
If global temperatures weren't increasing.....Then it's time for concern.
The planet will survive as long as the Sun survives and longer

john you agree its happenning, how about putting forward some workable ideas as alternatives to the ETS ? 🙂

Carbon Dioxide is not a pollutant-it is a vital part of out planet and it life systems and out food production.
It is a minor greenhouse gas only and not enough to worry about
the earth's climate has changed and will change without our input.
A bigger danger would be global cooling - we are overdue for an ice age - far more deaths would occur in a colder climate and even more as food production falls.
The UK reports global temps are not rising. It is only the parts that suit the agenda that are reported.
Gardeners can pump Co2 into their greenhouses to increase yields. Co2 is not an issue - and mother nature will put out more than we ever will.

'mother nature' as you put it continues to show vulnerabilities. look at reports on the once great barrier reef .acidification from carbon levels in the ocean is raising water temperatures and killing off coral and reef species, in SA its kelp forests and giant cuttlefish disappearing in numbers .. the list is as long as nero's cut and pastes. try having an actual look other than soaking up utube conspiracy videos.
