I am the last person to help lol but can you put it in a box/frame to deflect light and reflection.
I just know how unbelievably hard it was trying to get a pic of a smashed ipod screen for the Broken theme.
The duds with reflection I managed to use one in the b&w theme, might even try another one for this theme lol.
Different photos, mind you, another pet hate is Repeats.

all i'm seeing is discussion on a chat thread designed to chat about the photo contest to avoid clogging up the challenge threads
people who take questions or opinions as complaints is a problem of theirs
btw, is this a complaint or an expression of an observation?! you decide

After seeing your bumble bee photo I think you have been keeping quiet about a previous life

I want to complain about some photos not even remotely meeting the prompt. Macro or close up. How hard is it? zoom in, use a macro lens, enlarge a portion of a pic? Anything but so many post after post of animals, gardens flowers that have nothing whats so ever to do with the theme. I dont get it
there rant over

I disagree with you on that point Joz....if you are running the challenge you do take questions/opinions to heart.....because you do want everyone to enjoy the challenge and the thread.
The fact is there are too many people posting now for democratic opinions to be sought on every little change in the running of the thread/challenge. It is evolving every week and it is consuming a lot of people's time, just counting up and working out the winners each week can take a few hours. As I said I did it for a week and I greatly admire Pimpy for her fortitiude and Roserobin for agreeing to do a repeat performance.
If Rose and Pimpy choose to make an alteration to how the thread is run or over how many threads then I think they are well within their rights.

Nah. It's a brand new full HD Pentax. Point and shoot. No biggie.
It does all the work, and I think the poor little bumble bee wasn't well.

personally, i've never taken questions/opinions/suggestions to heart on my music contest
i've listened to them, taken them aboard.. processed any ideas then taken charge on how i want it to operate for the better of the community, so everybody can enjoy the game. as an unbiased administrator would.

you may need to point out to me(us) on where any suggestions for the rules are viewed as complaints

kinda goes against the idea - the notion of getting off one's butt.. get out there and smell the roses, when it only entices net junkies to came back online to post their piccys, doesn't it?!

i did it for 2 weeks and it's a piece of cake. it's as complicated and time consuming as one wants to make it

who's complaining?
