Trump was voted in by a large majority who saw him as a better person than the options and going by the protects in the US its clear to see who the uneducated rabble supports. As 2013, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates that there are 242,470,820 adults living in the United States. The total population was estimated at 316,128,839 people, with 76.7 percent of those people being over 18.
Trump was voted in by 59,698,506 people - hardly a large majority
The point being that it was a larger majority, much larger, than voted for Clinton.

'SOUTH PARK' FORCED INTO EMERGENCY RE-WRITE AFTER CLINTONโS SHOCK LOSS
ike almost everyone else, South Park got the US Presidential Election very, very wrong.
Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were forced to re-write their post-election episode after Donald Trump's shock win. Earlier this week, South Park had shared a short clip and synopsis that appeared to predict a Hillary Clinton victory.
Esquire reports that the since-deleted clip showed PC Principal getting the school ready for a visit from First Gentleman Bill Clinton aiming to fight "male locker room mentality", while the synopsis read:
"The new administration has plans for Gerald on an all-new episode of South Park titled "The Very First Gentleman" on Wednesday, November 9 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. PC Principal tries one more time to make peace between the boys and the girls. Meanwhile, Gerald comes face-to-face with the Troll Hunter."
South Park shared a new clip of the re-written episode less than 12 hours after Trump's victory, which contains the depressing reminder that "We've learned that women can be anything, except for president."
The show famously operates on an insanely tight schedule to keep things topical, creating entire episodes in the week before they air to keep things topical as hell โ but even so, this is a huge bloody effort.
Last time round (a.k.a. when Barack Obama was elected eight years ago) South Park released an episode which AV Club reports was "obviously" designed to be adapted to either an Obama or a John McCain victory.
But it looks like this time they were just a *liiiittle* overconfident.

Clinton's vote was 59,926,386 - so more people than Trump.
But they run their elections on States and how many election votes for each state.
A vote of 270 was needed to win. Trump got 290. Clinton got 232
Michigan with 16 electoral votes is still not counted
American politics and how they count votes is too confusing

How can someone get voted in when only 1/4 of the voting population voted him in.
Nearly half the population didn't vote at all.
Truly ridiculous IMO
