Grr at the bon fires hubby had 50 going the other week...took him ages to check em all..

I use hypo allergyn tissues...have tried the alo ones but they tend to smear if used on my lenses.

I have tried the tuck in tightly but it doesn't work as ashton uses his legs and arms to throw all the covers off or he pushes with his legs & also slides up the cot out of the covers & slides down the foot of the cot..no wonder I have to turn on the lamp to find him cause he could be anywhere in the cot!!!
I had to stop using sleeping bags at night cause he used to get so angry as he couldn't move his legs enough.....I am dreading when we put him in a bed...prolly find him rolling round the floor!!!

My boy hated the sleeping bags too...and he is a roving sleeper.....will need a KIng size bed when he is older methinks!!

One afternoon Ashton was asleep in the cot..I found him laying on his back fast asleep hugging pooh bear problem was he had both legs through the bars I should have taken a photo 🙂

Ashton was again a rolly polly over night...had me baffled though when the machine alarm went off and it wouldn't keep going.....checked dose & ml per hr all good still wouldn't keep going...after 5 mins I was ready to throw it out the window....then I thought hmm will check the problem sheet...so stumble out to kitchen grab it & look through problems get to the bit where it says the senses may need a wipe over...so grab a baby wipe take hose out of machine wipe senses and put back together still no work...hmm hmm look at list again...says check medication tap is turned on...so have a look and it is turned off....beeep beep during Ashtons rolly rolly round the cot he managed to turn the med tap off....so finally get all sorted tuck chubba in & go back to bed......only to here the phone ringing.....

Phone call was from the hospital social worker, she was checking up to see if she could provide us with any financial assistance...re Ashtons pump hire... travel costs.....toys for learning etc..she gets a bit antsy cause we have always said no before...and still say no... she made a point that I am to ring or email her at anytime if we need assistance because she doesn't want us to be financially stressed when help is available.....It is good to know that if needed we can get help.

We all went grocery shopping yesterday...had not done any for 9 days so it was needed.
The gps got a work out...not that we needed to use it.

It is nice that the hospital are taking such good care of you. I don't blame you for saying no. One day you might be really desperate for it and it will feel much easier accepting the help when you no you have no choice. And they will know your need is genuine.

Ashton sounds like an absolute joy. Very funny that he managed to turn his med tap off. Though I'm sure it doesn't always seem like that at the time.

Ashton slept all night 🙂 I only got up at 5am to cover him over....he then slept until 9am...

Yesterday lunch time hubby & I where in the lounge room watching bob the builder with Ashton...he goes out of the room, hubby n I still watch tv...we here Ashton laughing n think hmm better see what he is doing...go to walk in the kitchen & Ashton is up on the kitchen table dancing 😮 & laughing hubby n I nearly had a heartattack....Ashton can get on the kitchen chairs by himself....might have to put another door barrier up in the kitchen doorway.

we have had some rain..10mm or so otherwise it is just misty rain that really doesn't do much...places closer to melbourne have had alot more..Have planted canola for the first time..be interesting to see what it grows like.
