The Soapbox thread seems to have dropped off the end of the universe, so I come over here to check on Ashton.

It's good to hear he's going well. He looks gorgeous.

Hey, does your hubby collect stamps? I've got a bunch I've been collecting (well, not so much "collecting" as saving for someone or some good cause or something. (I'm a hoarder, just can't bear to throw things away).

Anyway, if he'd like them, email me your address. Most are Australian, they go back several years, but there are some UK ones and some US ones in there.

Hey Katy LTNS 🙂 Yes Hubby is stamp mad LOL has even got J & B into them 🙂 will email you address..

Well had a good time at the show got wet n cold n blown away LOL we came home 430pm as it had settled into a very heavy storm.
Power wasn't going for about 1 1/2 hrs so had to wait until it came back on to reheat fish n chips...hubby did set the generator going for the tv n lights n water.....bit noisy but least we could see.

The joys of being on a farm and having back up power LOL

Hubby has been known to get the genny going during a power black out and here are we watching the TV while the whole town is in darkness 🙂

apparently he is taking the generator with us over xmas newyear just incase as we will be camping for a few days....:O hmm he is just lucky it is in a back yard so can still use shower n loo.......oh n I have to check airbeds and organise bedding and other stuff...seems to be the year for the relos to have xmas at the inlaws...hence the tents......then we go to the rented holiday house in jan 🙂

Evening
Ashton has been sleeping well...although the afternoon nap won't happen unless I put him in the pram to watch tv as he just keeps getting busy with toys then it only takes 2-3 minutes and he is snoring LOL
Trying to sort out all the clothing Ashton has outgrown...fun not LOL...
Hubby has taken the fire guard down and put the fire cover back on the combustion fire in the lounge so Ashton can't play with it...seems more room in the lounge now.
Strawberries are ripening heaps now and we are getting sick of peas n snow peas LOL I saw heaps on there again that need picking...I think hubby is going to harvest some spuds over the weekend he planted 2 different brands.

He reckons trying to buy real peas is like getting the pope to change religons lol

Sounds like you had a good crop growing and yummy fresh potatos as well 🙂

Hubby spent about 1hr shelling peas the other night 🙂 still getting heaps of snow peas and now the strawberries have started 🙂
Ashton has been sleeping well, has got back into getting up early though 😞 has been saying several words in a row ---"dads gone to work" "boods riding bike" "go for a walk"....
Got the book list for Jade next year went through it and marked off some things she can use from this year..all up it came to $280 just for stationary stuff that gets made up at the local newsagent in year packs...saves running around the shops.
Boods has been going ok at school...fingers crossed!
Hubby is busy with shearing and carting stock to market.
weather has been cold n wet n windy the last few days.

Morning
Ashton has been sleeping well, has started to eat again, he is teething the front bottom teeth atm so not wanting anything in his mouth..thank god for teething gel n panadol.
Ashton had a busy weekend he went yabbing in the dams with hubby n j & B..didn't get wet was more interested in throwing the nets in before they where set up LOL
Hubby and the boys stayed home saturday while Jade & I went into town to get a few xmas pressies for her friends.
Found my address book after I stopped looking for it so was able to address the 10 xmas cards I couldn't remember addresses of.
Have to wrap Ashton's xmas pressies as I have done all the others...

This morning I take Ashton to have blood test done 100km away..no Dr to see as already have form from him to get bloods done today..then notify the renal Drs the bloods are done so they can let me know results....

Have to find a few more xmas pressies, pick up a new battery for the Prado $156 , trip to post office to pick up the year book of stamps $95 for Hubby's collection & post a parcel....

Hubby will pick the kids up from the school bus so I won't have to rush home 🙂
