WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I don't know. I would say no hope on my phone, I can't even log into this site on my phone or maybe I could but too complicated. The computer is already set.

I am not even sure I have a my notes app on my computer though.

Re today's wordle.

They deliberately made it more difficult today I suspect, by including V and X. They know very well most people don't use starters with those letters!

Well, it started off looking promising but that middle yellow cut out a fair few possibilities.

I skipped shout, though I was tempted by sidle or tilde, so i would have liked to use shout so the S & T were ruled in or out.
In the end I went for fudgy though, which forced me to rethink.

I could not guess any of ther words after my 3rd turn. I felt confused by possibilities, though in hindsight, I probably should have got #5 then. I was frustrated as I could see #7 would likely be guilt or built but I had no strong feeling for which one, so i thought.. fudgy at least will cover more letters rather than taking a wild guess. 
I did suspect catty early on but thought it might be too easy and there might be possible answers I was missing.

As you can see, I made a fatal mistake on turn 3, the very worst place to make one. At least, after that, the answer was obvious and I was able to finish the game without any other big blunders. I almost made another one though as I thought #6 might be trick but I got caught up in solving some other words. I was so pleased to solve mucky as I had been keen to have F or C exposed so i could solve #7, but until then, I fully expected to be typing in trick. So.. disaster averted by a veritable whisker!
