Catholics have always been allowed to remarry after divorcing.......there are and always have been, ways of doing so.

That - perhaps - is only since the Catholic Church granted anyone a divorce.

Begs the question then Bushie - what was the point of granting a so called ' divorce '
Only to be forsaken by the religion - you were brought up in - the religion of your parents - parents who were also denied.
Harsh to say the least.

Yes, they have........ there are dispensations........ you can also apply to the Vatican for permission to annul the first marriage.

One way to be allowed to re-marry in the Catholic church, you had to apply to the church to have your previous RC marriage anulled....
well, thats what my cousins' husband had to do, so that they could get married in the RC church.
His previous marriage was for 13yrs and produced 3 kids. I dont think its right. (JMO)

NO they haven't, each case is different and permission is not always granted or are you an "expert" on every case?

You must have misread my post..........
I don't need to be an expert at anything......
I have family members who have done this.......... I have been a witness twice for annulments...... once for a friend, once for a family member.
Just because your experience is different does not mean there are not ways of remarrying.
