I'll agree to disagree with you agreeably about that Julia.
What I will say before I go then, is if the church is really considered "just another institution" abusing children etc, then what an utter failure given what they are supposed to stand for. Aren't they supposed to be above that as they minister to the sick and the weak, as they perform all their christian etc "holy" (their jargon, not mine) duties in the name of their god, wrapped in their vestments of piety? .... but then again thinking more about it, history dictates in a loud and clear way, they were never above it after all.
Such a shame, it's supposed to mean so much more.
