I just installed windows 10, in like Flynn. It looks nice and clean but too much stuff on my task bar now so I'll have to sort out what I need and what I want to get rid of.
Has anyone else done it and any tips? I'm a bit too busy to muck around much today but any good pointers would be nice and for a start, how do you shut down your computer?!!

hi ozzy!
i think it would only make sense to upgrade if you have W8
there is a way to get rid of the pop up, btw, pods posted instructions on how .. on his board somewhere

don't "upgrade"!
win7 is ok, win8 is a nightmare and win10 is only a little bit better than win 8.
defend your win7 with claws and teeth if necessary.

pah! it's rubbish. try to play a puny little game like spider solitaire. you are bombarded with adverts, i can hardly see the cards and i have excellent eyesight. not mentioning that Xp is much nicer and even win7 is far superior. win8/10 is excrements.

well, in a way it's a good thing cos i won't be stuck for 30 minutes to the screen playing spider solitaire cos chinwag is dead. instead i will turn off the computer and do something else.

When I "upgraded" from win7 to win10 on my laptop, I could no longer hear any sounds.
Apparently this is a common problem. It took a little while to hunt down the info to fix it.
In fact it seems to be such a common problem that Microsoft must be aware of it.
Now, we all have to hope that they care enough to fix it.
