We need to get on the outrage bus and start a protest or petition to save the mud crab from it's death sentence.
Putting it to death for escaping is against the Geneva Convention. At the least, he must be returned to captivity,
if not released into the general population

Agree.
The one's in NT / Darwin are good, when someone comes home and finds a croc in the pool, back garden or
even the house in some instances !!!
Always makes for good footage on the news and in that Bastion of superb journalism, the NT News !

Police who raced with sirens blaring to a home invasion in Brisbane have detained a thoroughly delicious intruder.
A terrified man called police about 1.30am on Monday to say he was hiding from a burglar in his West End home.
Police sprang into action, believing the man's life could be in danger, but found nothing more sinister than a feisty mud crab.
"The informant woke to noises of what he believed to be someone inside his house," a police spokesman told the ABC.
"He was seeking refuge in his bedroom because he was too scared to go out.
"They were able to determine quickly that the offender was actually a large mud crab that had escaped its box and was wandering around the kitchen."
Box?, was it a pet? takes all kinds
Would you be frightened of this intruder?
Funny this topic comes about now. This morning as I'm shivering under my covers trapping my body heat as best i can. I heard something hitting up against the camper and moments later a gun shot. minutes later, two more gunshots. Didn't scare me. I figured it was a hunter maybe shooting at some lucky deer. Way to tired and cold to be frightened.
