Yes, and that is why they change the law in Yellowstone and other National Parks so that you can now take your pistol with you.
I am not one for walking in the bush without a firearm, especially if Dangerous Game is around !!! LOL
A mate a a huge, 8 ft or bigger Brown Bear on it's hind legs. I think he got it in Canada.

Concealed carry here in the US is a farce. You can qualify for a CCW course on line............how does one demonstrate weapon safety and proficiency on line? Many states are "shall issue"states, where a CCW may not be denied except for specific criteria, such as being a felon.
So, in essence, some mouth breather can buy a pistol, acquire a CCW qualification on line, cough up $50 bucks at his local sheriff's office, and strap it on. Then get into a "road rage" incident, and pull down on his erstwhile advesary.
Or, in an all-too-familiar scenario, leave the loaded weapon, with a round in the chamber, sitting on the coffee table, where the neighbor kid can get to it and put a big hole in your kid, your wife, or yourself........just like the example today.

My brother, the forest ranger, was hiking out of a draw, in the Rogue River National Forest, packing a deer carcass, when he was intercepted by a bear, drawn by the scent of deer blood.........he discharged his rifle with the muzzle buried under the bear's jaw..........

Most of the people I know who hunt Dangerous game - Bears, Buffalo, Scrub Bulls, Lions, Elephants etc
have had at least one serious charge where it was a case of stop it or you get squashed.
I stopped mine at 8ft, a Scrub Bull that wanted to pin me to a tree

Yeah, but where does he say buy an assault weapon
Is not a sword, an assault weapon if it can be used to assault someone with? The Roman government and Pharisees soldiers had what? swords. Jesus wanted his followers to have what those tyrants had, otherwise, how were they expected to maintain their religious and other freedoms?
You seem to think it's fine if the cops "tyrants" have these weapons, but we the people, shouldn't have the same. God never meant for us to be slaves and having cops with guns and no people with guns, is pretty much ensuring we all be slaves

Baloney...........

I second that baloney.............in many first world nations, guns are not readily available, yet the police aren't tyrannical.........

I haven't scrolled right through so I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet - but I thought it was worth a chuckle or two. Be sure you have your sound turned on.

It shouldn't................. but some people just don't think.
I am old enough to remember the gun standing in the corner, loaded with a safety on.
and did you or anyone else shoot anyone with it?
