there is that law here that i am not allowed to promote hate speech which is fine with me.
religious books however are excepted.
even though they have a serious impact on society.
i do understand why it is so but it is still madness to allow a book to be published that demands that people kill other people because they have different thoughts.
we are reaping the harvest.
ah well...

Aps, how many threads do you intend going Godwin on?
on โ17-01-2015 10:08 PM
You may find this surprising but it is not normally me that invokes Goodwin's law during discussions, it is normally someone else.
I have other "tactics" I use during debates and discussions
(or fishing trips)
So probably none I am afraid to say !

Good for you, then

What "they" class as offensive, many don't.
You only have to look at the bleeped out words to see how tame this site is.
One thing I have noticed is some on this forum don't like thread drift, AND Goodwins law doesn't apply
on this forum whereas it does on most.
Quite possibly, a lot don't even know what Godwins' Law is, or states!
Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I would say very few know what it is as it hasn't been cited here while I have been on, which is unusual.
Hence my comment on the tameness of this forum.
Wrong assumption.
How long have you been on?
This board (change of names & moderators) has been going for 10-14 years!

OK, so you know what Godwins Law is, but you aren't going to say it/use it. They why did you assume others might not have the same thoughts as you. Rather than incorrectly accusing most here of not knowing about it?

What is Goodwins Law? *ignoramous sitting in the corner*
