i really hate my

:_| Washing machine, X-(

I made a post about this ages ago,:|

I was hand washing for my family of six as my machine died,:|

As i couldn't make my mind up on what i should buy i kept at hand washing, Until 4 weeks ago and bought a 5.5kg fisher and paykel top loader. Thinking it was so nice to finally have a machineB-)

I hate this machine, Its so rough on the fabrics it has torn a few items of clothing because it causes them to get stuck under the agitator. X-(

So i call the fisher and paykel help line and had a repairman out under warranty to assess the machine.

He looked at it and said it was all fine and to wash all clothes in a mesh bag.(never ever heard of machine) requiring this either.?:|

But still gets the mesh bag caught and tore it open during the cycle and now have a item stuck under the agitator once again and won't budge X-(. Grrr I have had enough of this rubbish. Then on top of this it leaves excessive lint on the clothes (yes i separate very carefully) I use half the liqard omo detergent and clothes still don't seem very well rinsed either:_|. I use the right cycle for what fabrics im washing etc, Im not stupid:^O

Tomorrow im taking the machine back to the good guys and making a stand on a full refund or replacement to another brand and if i have to make a song and dance till they help me out so bloody be it as they haven't been at all helpful either. .:_|:O:|X-(;\

So if any of you can tell me of your experiences with a excellant washing machine im all ears, 🙂

Thank you for your understanding but i needed to vent about this disgraceful appliance.

:-x

When I changed from a normal sized mach to a 8kg one we used less water.

OP's previous machine a 4kg.. how many loads would you have to do in that for 6-9 people? Would be a full time job.

A smaller machine uses proportionally more water than a large one.  It is actually false economy to do 2-3 loads in a small machine when they could be done in one load in a large machine.

Of course a larger machine will use more water per cycle than a smaller one.  But you can fit more into a larger machine, so less loads overall.

OP you do at least three loads of washing every day? Hooley Dooley your family must be total grots to generate that much washing.

Mine underdries the clothes. There's always a corner of a doona cover still wet. It's really annoying.

Do you dry them inside out?  Line or dryer, I always dry anything with thick seams inside out to give them a chance to dry freely instead of being enclosed.

Re: i really hate my

If anyone is concerned about using less water they would buy a front loader rather than a top loader also.

Re: i really hate my

maybe you're trying to cram too much washing into the machine OP?
